Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Orbit Life Tracker application ("Orbit," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading, or using Orbit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. User Accounts and Security

You must be at least 13 years old to use Orbit. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. We use Supabase to securely manage your authentication.

3. Subscription and Billing

Orbit offers premium features ("Orbit Pro") through auto-renewing subscriptions managed by RevenueCat via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• Pricing: Orbit Pro is available for $1.99 per month after a 90-day free trial. Pricing may vary by region.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not provide refunds for partial months.
• Payment Processing: We do not store or process your payment details directly. All transactions are handled securely by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.

4. Health Data and Medical Disclaimer

Orbit integrates with Apple HealthKit and Google Health Connect to track your fitness and wellness goals.

• Not Medical Advice: Orbit is a lifestyle and tracking tool, not a medical device. The information provided by the app, including AI coaching, is for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• Data Accuracy: We rely on the data provided by your device's health APIs. We are not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of the health data synced from Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect.

5. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You agree not to use Orbit for any unlawful or prohibited activities. You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
• Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of our services or servers (e.g., Supabase backend).
• Use the AI Coach (Google Gemini) to generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, code, and intellectual property in Orbit are owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Orbit at any time, without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the app will immediately cease.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orbit and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the app.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date or providing an in-app notification. Your continued use of Orbit after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
